Taking Time After Heavy Rain - My Blog

Hello, dear #Hive friends. Welcome back to my blog. On Monday, 23 October 2023, I was bored at home after a heavy rainfall in Medan. I decided to go out and find a place to spend my free time. I rode my motorbike to River Park, a small park located in the Podomoro Land area in the centre of Medan. The park only has a footpath surrounded by plants and trees which I think is quite beautiful. In the centre of the park, there is a small bridge under which there is a koi fish pond. In addition, in this park, there are also some children's play facilities, such as swings, seesaws, and slides as well as sports facilities.

When I was at River Park, I felt a calm and beautiful atmosphere. Many plants were growing in the park, making the air feel cool and fresh. I sat on one of the park benches and enjoyed the view of the river flowing next to it. After an hour, I decided to continue my journey to the mall in still Podomoro Land apartment. Coincidentally, the mall was hosting a cosplayer competition in the evening. When I arrived at the mall, the event was still a while away. However, I decided to have a look around. I found some interesting things, there is action figure exhibitions.

The action figure exhibition at Podomoro Land Mall featured a wide variety of action figures from various anime and films. There are action figures from Gundam, Naruto, One Piece, Marvel, and many more. I like the Gundam action figure. The shape of the robot statue is very detailed. In addition, I also saw a bonsai stall in Podomoro Land Mall. They sold several kinds of mini bonsai of various plants. I didn't know what kind of plants they were, but they were very interesting to me. I was very interested in the mini bonsai plants. I asked the price of 1 pot of bonsai, and I was surprised that the price was quite expensive. Apart from the bonsai stalls, there were also stalls selling accessories and clothes themed after anime and other Japanese cartoons.

Since I was only there for a short time, I didn't get to see the cosplayer competition. I wanted to see it, but I had other work to do. But, even though it was only a short time, I still enjoyed my free time at River Park and Podomoro Land Mall. I also hope to get the chance to see a cosplay event in the future.
