When a Cat becomes a pigeon

This was originally a cat, a playful cat - you can read about it here but it is also a 3 in one set so there are 2 more official builds to do, and then plenty of others on rebrickable. so it's time to turn this into a Pigeon.

It starts like this, just a pile of pieces sitting on the table in the afternoon sun

fairly quickly however it's starting to take shape, it has some pronounced feet pretty early and the start of something that could be considered pigeon chested.

Then it takes on a very Puffin like appearance with that prominent beak and wee beady eyes

But as it get more of body and a tail and some wings it's really starting to look bird like

and I have to say finished it does have the dumb look that pigeons have, and the colouring feel on pointe, again another great set from the 3 in 1 gang at Lego

and of course it was straight off to hanging around in my plants as birds (and the cats from next door) like to do
