#Monomad Photography - Throwback

I'm currently in London, this is unusual for me - I've spent about 5 days of my entire life here. When I heard I was going to be here I got to think about the last time I was here, which was way back in which somehow was just over 17 years ago in May 2009.

I took some - frankly pretty poor photos back, I know because I decided to looks back on them yesterday, I know the best 10 or so I took becuase they ended up on Flickr but I found a couple which never went anywhere other than a hard disc. But I thought with some cropping, a bit of adjustment and importantly a conversion to Black and White there might be something there, so I present to you these two photos, lost in the archives for the last 17 years....

I always liked the look on this mans face, I would have liked the chef to be looking at him more but I guess that is the awkwardness of youth - although that guy who looks maybe 20 years old here would now be 37, almost middle aged.

and this which I really like the compostion in, the leading lines were hinting at something I was trying, okay the lady could be more in focus but there is still something there I think.
