HALSHOE MAKING WITH WITH A GD LEATHER FOR A CLIENT .

Good morning everyone in this great community,it's another creative post from your favourite shoemaker who loves to share his ideas on this platform or community.
As we are approaching new year and Christmas ceremony,alot of individual are willing to change their footwear.We have alot of brand but in this post,we are making use of GD leather which have been rampant to users of footwears.Yesterday a client request was reached while I needed to show the process to my hive friends
MATERIALS
Sole
GD leather
Logo
Thick leather
PROCESS
I started with the usual cutting of your shape with a paper and trace on a GD leather using pen then use scissors to cut it out and apply gum on the upper and thick leather.

The next process is that we will gum all together and move to the sewing machine and sew the edges of the leather before trying to last the halfshoe

Now we will last the upper to the ready made insole which we will apply gum on the upper and insole and use the last to set to client size

Apply gum on the readymade sole and the lasted upper and gum all together which make up the halfshoe ready.
