269 Hive powered up on Crowd Power Up day 1

We recently kicked off a long-term Hive staking project called Crowd Power Up(CPU) day. As a web3 business built on Hive, we have been staking Hive daily. But with CPU, Happy Customer Supermarket is trying to build a culture that encourages its customers and friends to stake Hive and hold it long term.

We designed CPU as a contest to incentivize staking activity and encourage more participation. Basically, all the participants have to do is power up some Hive every Sunday or everyday. This past Sunday, we kicked off and it would be nice to show you friends our humble beginning. We hope to grow this culture as fast as we can.

Kickoff results - 269 Hive staked

So our first day of CPU was a super great one. A total of 13 users joined the initiative and each person staked at least 7 Hive. The idea is that they are powering up an average of 1 Hive everyday. But many of the participants took it further than the 7 Hive minimum recommended. Take a look at the leaderboard below:

More rewards to the prize

For all those participating, there are rewards to say thank you. The earnings of that powerup post which currently stands at $12 would be shared to all that powered up through @commentrewarder. Hopefully, that amount might go up.

Another reward for participation is that top 3 persons that powered up the most at the end of the month would share a grand prize of 7 HBD. We might likely increase this amount at our discretion.

And now, we are adding yet another prize. The winners announcement post at the end of the month would add the top 3 winners as beneficiaries in the following order

1st Position: 30%
2nd Position: 20%
3rd Position: 10%
