A sad story

Everyone has a sad story
To keep alive or to bury
A heavy burden we have to carry
But it's late to say sorry
For the sleepless nights and constant worry

Yet through the pain, we find our way
In the dawn of each new day
We rise again, no matter what
Seeking the light to guide our way

With every tear and every scar
We learn just who we are
The journey might be very long and far
But we will finally shine like a bright star
