Tree Shadows on Jars: SMASh Contest 300 Entry
A Buddhist temple I recently visited had a long line of large water jars, some painted blue, some pink. Next to them was a row of young trees and the late afternoon sun was casting their shadows onto the beautifully curved surface of the jars producing a pleasant effect. The plain colours of the jars helped a lot to display these tree shadows, which could have been lost on a more decorated surface.
I took one photo of the trees and a jar shadowed together.
These unused jars, I think, are more for decoration than any practical storage use as they were dry inside.
