Shoe Shadow Heads: Entry to SMASh Contest #304
The early morning sun creates some great cartoon head shadows from the shoes sitting outside our front door. The first time I noticed it I smiled but didn't take a photo. The second time I noticed it I realised the possibilities of trying different footwear (for some reason we have quite a lot!). I didn't want to make anything too contrived so arranged the shoes quickly and in their correct pairs. I guess taking more care and mixing up the shoes might produce a more elaborate shadow face but I like leaving room for the imagination to fill in the details.
