Chiang Mai Dawns: Love the Clouds Contest #183

When we lived in the city of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand one of my favourite things to do was cycle up the local mountain, Doi Suthep, to watch the sun rise from a viewpoint overlooking the city. I had to get up very early and the ride was a tough climb but what a fantastic way to start the day! The light was always wonderful and the cloudscape was forever different. I would often be at cloud level, looking them in the eye. These are some of the photographic results.
