Freewrite || Waiting Behind the Wall
This morning, the atmosphere in the yard felt so peaceful. The sun was beginning to peek through the coconut trees, creating beautiful shadows on the ground. As I was enjoying the atmosphere, my attention was drawn to a white cat sitting on the wall.
The cat appeared quiet and calm. Occasionally, it glanced back, as if observing something I couldn't see. Its white fur with hints of orange on its head and tail made it very attractive. Its eyes were also sharp, as if observing its surroundings.
I grabbed my camera and tried to capture the moment. Interestingly, just as I aimed the camera, the cat turned toward me. The resulting photo was simple yet telling a story. From my perspective, the cat seemed to be waiting for someone, or perhaps simply enjoying the warmth of the morning while observing the activity around it.
The presence of animals around the house often adds color to everyday life. They don't speak like humans, but their behavior often makes us smile and feel entertained. Even in their simplicity, a cat can teach us to enjoy serenity and live in the moment.
Moments like this also remind me that beauty doesn't always have to be sought far. Sometimes, just by paying attention to our surroundings, we can find many interesting things worth being grateful for. A cat on a wall, the morning sun, and a serene atmosphere are enough to create a memorable little story.
Thank you for reading my simple story today. May we all find happiness in the small things that are often overlooked in everyday life.
