There are many problems we face in our day-to-day life, isn’t it? Today, while browsing through my X feed, I came across a perfect picture that illustrates the steps involved in solving a problem effectively. Thes steps are general and can come in handy to solve any problem at hand. In this blog post, we are going to explore how these simple, yet powerful steps can guide us in tackling challenges more efficiently and finding practical solutions in everyday situations.

1 Understand the situation completely

This is where one need to pause and try to understand and think about what is actually going wrong and what is happening around us that is causing the PROBLEM.

2 Clarify your GOAL and what you want to achieve

Ask these questions to yourself. “What do we really want to achieve?” What is the GOAL here and what is it that we are try to solve and would like to achieve as a result. A GOAL could be simple as I want to achieve 100K+ HP [Hive Power] therefore try to have clarity on the GOAL.

3 Figure out the cause of the problem

I guess this should be simple – where we need to figure out what is causing the problem/issue that is acting as a blocker in achieving the GOAL defined. Is it a monetary issue that needs to be solved OR there is something else.

4 What do you need to know to solve the problem?

Do we need more facts and examples for that missing part. Now that we know the problem work on the how part in solving the problem now.

5 Where can you find the information/ Who has the information?

Is it google who is going to get us the information OR are we relying on some third party to help us. Try to figure out who is going to rescue us. Try out all the means you have handy maybe even call your friends who had worked on a similar topic and ask for help if needed. No harm in taking help if it helps solve your PROBLEM…

6 What needs to be done to resolve the problem?

Once you have all the information ask this question, what needs to be done to fix the problem? It's important to stop and break the problem into smaller tasks and then plan your actions to solve the problem.

7 Find the best action to achieve your GOAL?

Now that we have all the information the next step is choosing the best way to do it. You may have many options, but not all of them will give the best result. So, it’s better to think about what works best for you and pick the option that is most effective and practical. This will help you stay focused and save time while reaching your goal faster.

8 Put the action into a plan and start implement it.

GOALs with an action plan is of no use. Therefore, it is imperative to have an action plan and start implementing. Setting goal and not working on it is also of no use. Just thinking about what you want to achieve won’t help unless you begin working on it. Want to achieve something then better set GOALs, make a simple plan and take the first step. The first step taken is like half of the work done. Just remember that small action when done regularly and consistently will bring GOOD results over time.
