Math Brain Teasers 20:: Number Puzzle - Add Only 8s to Make 1000?- Solved with Explanation

There were many ways to solving this Number Puzzle but the efficient and the best one was the one elaborated by @chemistry-tutor @saachi & @dkmathstats

The important aspect of this math puzzle was to realize that the one place must be zero

And now; have a look at the following example to get to the Answer in the best possible manner

888 + 88 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 1,000
