Ask the Hive: What is Delayed Voting on Hiveblocks

Hey All;

I'm not sure if You folks have seen/observed this:: Delayed Voting block that appears on hiveblocks.

Here is how it looks like on hiveblocks::

I did see this Delayed Voting block a couple of times now. Tried searching about it here on HIVE but didn't get an answer to it as to what does it means. Though the name clearly states that it has something to do with the Voting being delayed.

But then the question arises::

• Why are the Votings being delayed?
• What is the reason behind the Votes to be delayed?

I may be wrong and I'm not sure as to, What does this Delayed Voting Block indicated. And hence asking this question on:: Ask the HIVE...
