Upgrade Your SmartNode Wallet

Hive account@everyone 1.2 is a mandatory update. Everyone should update their node client wallet by July 6th . If you're using the web wallet, SmartElectrum or a 3rd party wallet, then you don't need to update. SmartNode operators have a week to update their nodes. Detailed instructions on how to update your SmartNode will be provided once the PPA version of v1.2. is ready. We recommend all node operators to wait until the announcement, which should happen in the next 48 hours.

Hive account@everyone if you installed your SmartNode using the scripts or directly with PPA, 1.2.0 is now live and you can simply upgrade your node with: sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade. After upgrade, you will need to start smartcashd with a -reindex flag: smartcashd -reindex. Please jump into #smartnodes if you need support. Please note, if your node is running on Ubuntu 17, this will be the last release that supports Ubuntu 17 install via PPA.
Also: Nodes running version 1.1.1 (protocol 90025) will continue to be paid for approximately 1 week. If you node is close to the payment zone you may consider waiting as the upgrade will require a new-start from a 1.2.0 wallet, resetting your position in the payment queue.
