Goats Have Become My New Favorite Homestead Animal

The goats have been doing great here on the homestead. In fact I now have six! I’ll include the other two which are billys in the next set of pictures I drop from the homestead. These four ladies have been doing great and getting along great. The little baby is my favorite of course. She's so sweet and constantly comes up to me.

Everyday I'm learning new things here on the homestead through trial and error and those around me.

Truly, all it took was 2 generations for the knowledge our great-grandparents had to dissipate. With modern conveniences like grocery stores and microwaves, the skills they possessed dwindled away and got lost in the new motion of life.

I want to cook from scratch like they did, grow my own food, preserve my food, raise animals, and regain their way of life because depending on the system is not the system for me. How about you?
