“ Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.”

God instituted family to give stability and a loving environment for growth. And one of the vital ways to promote love and harmony in the home is in choosing and speaking right words every time, knowing that there is power in the words that we speak.

Our mouth is an instrument or tool given by God for creating whatever we desire to see in our lives. Hurtful words do damage beyond what eyes can see. The Bible describes bitter words as arrows (Psa. 64:3). In an atmosphere where such utterances fly around all too often, we can be sure that the devil will have a swell day tearing that home apart. Is that what you really want in your home?

In the same way, right words can heal deep wounds of the heart. The Bible says that words fitly spoken are like apples of gold in pictures of silver (Prov 25:11). In other words, they are beautiful, refreshing and inspiring. Choose to use words of encouragement and hope today while you relate with your loved ones. You would be making a huge investment that would soon yield huge returns. Glory to God!

🙏🏽We are praying for a move of God’s Spirit that many will respond faster to the Gospel of Christ.

Dear Father, I worship you today for who you are. You are my Rock and Fortress, and it is in you I live, move and have my being. I am grateful for the gift of this new day in the month of April, and I ask that you renew the right spirit within me and help me to see as you see even as I fellowship with you throughout this month. Help me to become more like you and to live a life that pleases you daily, in Jesus Name. Amen.
