Porlock Weir
Last week I was visiting the South West of England and drove through Porlock for the first time, taking the scenic route along the coast towards Devon. We took a little detour off the main road to visit Porlock Weir, which had been recommended by a friend. It wasn't a disappointment.
We took the road home via Porlock Hill, which with its 1 in 4 gradient, is the steepest A-road in the country. It was an adrenalin packed experience, next time I think I'll take the toll road!
