I'm back!
I haven’t posted on Hive in months. No dramatic reason - I just took a little break and, as usual, kept putting off my comeback. But I’m finally back!
To kick things off, here are some shots from my latest FPV-drone session two days ago in the mountains. I returned to my absolute favorite spot: a rock perch in the Höllental Valley, Austria, about 50km from my place. It takes a solid 40-minute hike from the parking lot to get up there, but once you’re on that rock the payoff is insane - you’re surrounded by near-vertical cliffs up to 300m high, giving you endless lines in every direction. Perfect for dramatic vertical dives and endless smooth cinematic flights through the surrounding ravines. Right now, in winter, the sun only hits the spot for a narrow 2 hour window each day, so timing is everything.
These shots were taken with the DJI O4 air unit of the GepRC VaporD5 drone.
