Foggy December
Where I live, December is often a very foggy month. Fortunately, my home lies just below the Hohe Wand mountain range, and whenever the valley is shrouded in mist, I check several public webcams to see conditions higher up. If the sky above is clear, I’ll often hike or drive up into the mountains to enjoy the spectacular view above the clouds.
I’ve just gone through my photo archive, looking at pictures taken in December over the past 15 or so years, and put together this small collection. I get never tired of this sight — it feels wonderfully liberating to escape the gloomy weather in the valley and emerge into bright blue sky above a sea of clouds.
