Chia Pet Day?
I thought I'd take a look at what "holidays" there were today and what do you know, it's Chia Pet day.
I was at a store a couple weeks ago when I saw this Chia Pet for sale:
I remember watching him paint on TV with those big brushes. I always thought he goofed up on something, but no, it always came out great. It made me think that I could paint like that, but no, I couldn't.
His paintings and the reruns of his show seem to be popular with the younger generation now. My 21-year-old daughter has a T-shirt with his picture on it.
I've never had a Chia pet, I don't think I'd care for one anyway. But, they were a very popular gift idea (sometimes a white elephant gift idea) when I was younger.
