God's Counsel

Proverbs 19:21 There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

A man's heart is full of imaginations and plans. These are the devices that makes him man and differentiate between men, for no two men think equally. The heart and the ability to think is God's exclusive gift to man for independence and choice. It's through this that we discover the need for God, for only the plans buried in God's will can stand. Thus, in the midst of all, let us seek God's counsel. No matter how beautiful a device in our hearts is, it will never stand against God's counsel. Nothing stand the test of time if it's not God's plan.

Don't be depressed that the relationship didn't work out. Don't be frustrated about that failed business plan. Don't give up because your ministry hasn't blossom as your thought. Give it time and submit to His counsel. His timing and counsel are unique and are the best.

When we abide in Christ He destroys evil counsel against us. Are you afraid of what evil men are planning against you? Discard the fear, for God's counsel alone shall stand. God's counsel are perfect and full of goodness(Jeremiah 29:11). Cheer up and worship God for His counsel in your life, for the time of it's manifestation is now.

Abba Father, thank you for your beautiful counsel towards us. Please give us the grace to wait for the manifestation of your will in our lives, in Jesus name. Amen.
