The Match
This is one of the first pieces I created with patina. I created this one by letting a hose flow water gently over the steel and then I poured a small amount of patina into the flow of water and let it color the steel that way. The two different patinas blended exactly as I hoped they would and created a this cool flame effect. I thought about doing the matchstick as an illustration, but thought an actual burned piece of wood would be a better touch.
