Hyper Rail Blaster, built by Invennium Corp on Arcade Colony, has designed a reward system meant to engage, motivate, and fairly compensate players who invest time, skill, and strategy. According to its whitepaper, the rewards framework rests on three major pillars, each allocated from the game’s funding request of 15 million COLONY tokens per year over a proposed five-year period.

1. Game Rewards (~6M COLONY/year)

The largest slice goes to Game Rewards—roughly 6 million COLONY tokens annually. These are distributed monthly (~500,000 COLONY/month) to players based on Rshares, a metric combining their game score, how many waves they defeat, and a staking multiplier tied to COLONY token holdings. The formula looks something like:

Rshares = (GameScore) × (WavesDefeated)^n,
with rewards prorated from the pool according to one’s share of the total Rshares.

2. Leaderboard Rewards (~6M COLONY/year)

Another 6 million COLONY tokens are set aside for Leaderboard Rewards. The leaderboard resets on a periodic basis (every 5 days, tentatively), and top players—based on high scores and/or games played—will receive rewards. Higher ranks yield bigger shares. Specific parameters (how many top players, exact reset cadence) are still TBD.

3. The Jackpot (~3M COLONY/year)

Finally, there’s a Jackpot pool of about 3 million COLONY tokens annually. This works differently: over rolling 30-day periods, the account that beats the all-time high score and holds the lead by period end wins 50% of the Jackpot. If no one beats the high score in a given 30-day span, the reward rolls over (i.e. the pool accumulates) until someone does.

This reward structure ensures a few key benefits:
