The Pharaohs of Egypt are the true king of African Football. Having made a total of 24 appearances, winning the trophy a record seven times. They are the most successful national team in Africa. It is easy to see why they are the favourite here. Stats don't lie.
Mo Salah, the current Egyptian king, after a very fine form with his clubside Liverpool, where they went on to win the UEFA Champions league while going toe-to-toe with Manchester City for the league title, scoring loads of goals along the line, will be hoping to lead this team to another AFCON glory. He would love it that.
However, Mo and his team will have to fight off a series of other contenders on home soil. How far can they go?
