Hivesigner SDK update v3.2.0

Hivesigner SDK got some new updates and improvements. Updating SDK to latest version is recommended to give best experience for dapp users.

In latest update about Hivesigner UI updates, we mentioned that we want to bring one click login and better account management. Simplifying everything means strip out some of the features which is the source of confusion for many users. We start by eliminating chrome extension dependencies. Focusing on what Hivesigner does the best, OAuth2 and simplifying user experience so even non-techy or non-geek people could understand the flow.

What's new

  • Improved comment json metadata check
  • Fix demo app, https://demo.hivesigner.com
  • Remove extension related operations
  • Deprecated hasChromeExtension
  • Deprecated hasHiveKeychain
  • Deprecated useHiveKeychain

What's next

We are working on next iteration of improvements on Hivesigner UI (User Interface). Next update will be focusing on better multi-account management and bring back full-fledged /sign page. You will be able to manage multiple accounts easily and manage authorities, sign transactions and more importantly, we will be able to give more focus on all Dapps in ecosystem.
We are also working on getting Hivesigner Login integrated into https://hive.blog. This is quite big change for us and cannot wait to see Hivesigner login option on hive.blog.
