Missing summer
Summer season here in the Philippines has started but it doesn't feel like it. In Cebu, it's been raining for 2 weeks straight and it's only today that we've had a full day of sun. Most of my friends on social media are out on the beach enjoying the heat since this week is also Semana Santa or Holy Week which is a long holiday that extends to the weekend.
I decided to stay at home to work on my thesis manuscript and get some rest. I've only been reliving my summer travels through my old photos.
The photos I'm sharing was when I went to a popular summer destination in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu. The water isn't the best, there are a lot of sea urchins. But you get fine white sand and relaxing lounges and cottages. Of course, the most important, you can enjoy the summer heat.
How about you? Have been to the beach lately? Is it summer where you are right now?
