What's happening this week in the community

First: The weekly snapshot from the dragons.

I'm absolutely going to have to rework that sheet to make it a little easier to read. It really doesn't represent well what is going underneath the surface.

@ashflare.gld keeps on getting daily distrubutions from @dlmmqb and the #PAKX crew.

With a value of 1.018 Hive over the time I've been delegating its a decent value. I wish I could make use of the !PAKX curator call for additional value but the ashflare.gld account doesn't post anything which makes it a little less useful in this situation.

@stonegale.gld got nothing last week which was kind of a drag making me wonder about the token. This week an outsized payout of 1.427 Hive for a three week total of 1.923. Wow. Good job to the @amazingdrinks community curator :)

@emberfang.gld is holding steady. 0.4 Hive this week for a total of 1.33 Hive over three weeks. Clockwork weekly rewards is nice.

Poor @cinderclaw.gld ... Still getting AFIT, HIVE and HBD from the @actifit curator but the amounts are... Small. It comes every Monday so only two payments so far but still...

Dragon Battles

Two Dragons got cheered on this week. @emreal cheered on @gldragon and @gwajnberg cheered on @emberfang.gld

Now the actual dragon power up system hasn't become functional yet BUT I can create dragon genomes now and I can battle the base forms of the dragon. It needs a lot more work to make it actually interesting to look at but.....

Dragon Stats

@gldragon

Strong, Intelligent and Charismatic. The orator for the Great Little Dragon community but if you look at the name no .gld at the end so not usually a battler. However, for @emreal he decided to take to the ring!

@emberfang.gld

More balanced overall with Intelligence, Dexterity and Charisma rounding out this dragon. Still, lacking in strength compared to @gldragon. Will his agility give him an edge?

To the Arena

Now here is the thing. The arena is chosen in advance and different arena's give different dragons different benefits. @gldragon is a mix of earth, wind and fire, so it can battle anywhere but it isn't great anywhere. @emberfang.gld is primarily a fire dragon with a little earth thrown in. Put him in a fire biome and his chances are great, in a water/air biome...yeah, he's at a serious disadvantage.

Let's see how the battle turns out this week!

Bad news for @gldragon : The biome turned up Fire/Fire/Fire which is @emberfang.gld specialty. @emberfang took the battle winning two rounds in a best of three.

Going forward I'll probably post the matchup and seed in advance showing what the biome is so there is a little calculation when you decide to cheer.

But as I've said--I'm still working on things.

25 GLD to @emreal for cheering on a valiant dragon who didn't quite make it.

And no third place because...well, only two people cheered ;)
