Glass is not only material it is also science
Although it seems a wrong projection glass is not only material is also science, I put it this way because it is composed of silica sand, carbonate and limestone partner that melt high temperature, and everything that tends to be fragile can be the subject of research, and therefore is pure science, therefore, glass is pure science.
