Firts Time Doing Sport Photography
Hi, friends in the photography lovers community. How are you guys? It doesn't realize that soon 2022 will be over and soon we will open a new beginning in 2023. Previously I also wanted to wish a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all friends who celebrate it.
Before 2022 ends, I will share some of the photography works I had time to do before 2022 ends. On this occasion, I will share photos when I cover running sporting events. This running event is held by the largest running community in my city, with a track length of about 6km, and of course, this is an event to find out who is the fastest runner to reach the finish line.
The most difficult challenge in doing the sports photography genre is we have to use a fast shutter speed to get the movement of each participant. Besides that, using a zoom lens is also very helpful in separating objects from the background, and another advantage of using a zoom lens is that we can shoot participants from a considerable distance, so this can reduce errors when we miss the moment.
However, the zoom lens that I have is just a zoom kit lens, so this lens has the smallest aperture at 5.6, which makes less light enter the camera sensor, and requires me to raise the ISO to get the correct shutter speed to shoot movement of runners.
Another drawback of the zoom lens that I have is the slow autofocus because this lens is quite old and belongs to the beginner class zoom lens, making it quite difficult for me to focus. Some of the photos I got were also partially miss-focused, but fortunately, there were still more files in focus than those that were miss-focused, so the organizers liked the results. And here are some of these photos.
Thank you,
I hope you guys like my photos. And the last photo is the photo I like the most among all the photos I took.
Warm greetings from me.
