Spring chasers

It is 1st of May, and what better way to celebrate the arrival of spring than by taking a day trip to the beautiful forests with my wife?
And more specifically in Kalavrita in Greece! It was the fisrt time we were there so we feel so excited about this place!

The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the flowers are in full bloom. We pack our bags with snacks, water, and our mobile phones to capture the beautiful scenery.

As we make our way into the forest, we can't help but be awestruck by the natural beauty around us. The leaves on the trees are a vibrant green, and there are flowers everywhere I look. I feel like I'm in a fairy tale.

As we walked deeper into the forest, we came across a meadow filled with even more camomiles. My wife pick a few and start to weave them into a wreath unsuccessfully. Later she found more flowers suitable for that!

But as we were walking, I suddenly hear a rustling in the bushes. We freeze, unsure of what to do. And then, out pops a fox! It looks at us with big, curious eyes! It was the fisrt time i saw this animal alive and so close !The fox just stares at us for a moment before scampering off.. I try to upload a video turned into gif, but i didn't manage to figure it out!

Here in Greece, it's traditional to make flower wreaths on May 1st for good luck. It is something i used to do it, since i was a kid!

All in all, my day trip to Kalavrita's forest was a beautiful experience. I feel like I've gotten boost from natural beauty, and I'm already planning my next trip back. And who knows, maybe I'll even run into Foxy again.
