**PRO FUTSAL ROUND 17 **
Round 17 of the Pro Futsal WA state Futsal League has been run and won and while the opening match went the way of the favorites Fremantle, with a crushing win over the Canning Ultra Tigers, it wasn't long before a gutsy Murdoch Warriors pulled off a big upset over 3rd placed Spearwood Lions to out them in danger of losing their top 4 position
The Lions were looking relatively safe with 3 seconds to go in the South Perth - Stirling match before the big lefty Rob Fytnogiannis sealed a narrow 4-3 win to Stirling, going 5th man in the dying seconds to get the job done once again. That put Stirling into 3rd, with the Cockburn EWA - Cumbre clash still to come.
Claremont Cambio Cumbre, as they have done so often over the years, find ways to get the job done, and they scraped a 4-3 win over Cockburn to give the latter just their second loss of an amazing campaign. The narrow win put Claremont Cambio Cumbre into 3rd, and remarkably it is now the Spearwood Lions dropping to 5th with just 4 rounds remaining.
