Luxury Hotel and Cliveden House

For my birthday, at the end of last year, the kids bought me a night's stay in a luxury Hotel plus a ticket to visit Cliveden House in Buckinghamshire . . . and the weekend has finally arrived! 😁

Fortunately we set off early and arrived at Cliveden just before 11.00 because by 2.30 it was raining heavily.

However, we were able to walk around the amazing gardens, (photos to come later) before it got too bad. Then we had coffee and cake about 3.00 and afterwards made our way to the hotel which is where I am writing this post.

Grovefield House used to be the country retreat of the Fuller family who made a fortune in the brewing industry.
