Two Steemit Tools you should know about.....

SteemAuto is a tool created by mahdiyari@mahdiyari that allows you to vote automatically. In Steemit you get 11 full-power votes per day (100%), and they are "use it or lose it" votes. Many of us have day jobs and multiple demands on our time, so SteemAuto is like putting your Steemit Account on Auto-Pilot. You can choose to vote for a specific account, a specific accounts comments, or vote for a curation trail like curie@curie.

There is a lot of fine tuning available, and through some magical process plankton can vote at less than 100%. The sliding vote-power bar is reserved for minnows, but SteemAuto found a way to do this for Plankton. Be careful, because the settings are powerful, if you follow a curation trail with 100% voting power, your voting power will get depleted very quickly, which would take days to recover. It is critical to set your "limit on voting power" in Settings. This means that SteemAuto will only vote on your behalf if your voting power is equal to or greater than this number. I set this to 95%, so if I don't use Steemit for a while SteemAuto will kick in once my voting power climbs that high. The other key setting is "wait time". If you are voting for a curation trail such as curie@curie, a wait time of 0 is fine. The curie@curie team does not know in advance if a post is good or not, so they probably aren't going to vote in the first 30 minutes of a post's release. However, for the fanbase settings, you are deciding to upvote anything the account puts out, so putting in 0 minutes would mean the entire curation reward would go to the author. In general for smaller accounts vote close to 15 minutes, and minnows and up can vote closer to 30 minutes. You are trying to spend your upvote wisely, without getting "splashed out" by larger accounts.

Spectacles for Steemit

https://www.steemspectacles.com

Have you ever thought of a really great idea, then checked online and someone had already done it? That is the case with Spectacles for Steemit created by pilcrow@pilcrow and sjennon@sjennon. I was thinking it would be cool if you could judge the "quality" of a follower. Many times I will get followers who are following 10K other people as well. Obviously they are not reading my blog. Steem Spectacles gives you valuable insight into who is really supporting you. Feel free to browse the website, there are no passwords or any settings you can change, it is informational only.
This tool analyzes your steemit account to give you valuable information about your most loyal followers, your most influential followers, your ghost followers, and your dead followers. A ghost follower is an active Steemian who hasn't interacted with you in the last 100 posts, and a dead follower is a person that has been inactive on Steemit for over 30 days. It is a beautifully designed website, and I would personally give it the award for the best looking Steemit Tool site. I hope this helps you in your Steemit journey.
