This is possibly the best article I've read all week. After seeing Partick Swayze in 'Roadhouse' stitching himself up after one of his many bar room brawls, a tiny masochistic part of me has always wanted to do this for myself and finally, I have the instructions!
This is definitely one step on from a google self diagnosis lol.

Suturing is a fancy way of saying stitches. It's when you use a sterilized needle and thread to sew together a severe wound so that tissue can start healing properly as well as to reduce the chances of infection. Sutures are used when a wound is deep and gaping.
