If I said that beauty is an appreciation born in the mind not sight, I'm sure most of us will find that arguable.

Beauty is seen to me as the appreciation of someone's mind by someone else's mind. The level at which someone's mind interacts with his/her environment determines the degree of appreciation given by a mind that examines it. There is a level of openness and attention required by a subject to appreciate an object.
The whole football game is originated from the mind and though it spills to the visuals because that's an entrance point, it could also involve all other senses depending on how complex the code used by the issuer's mind is 😁🤔.
