June 24 2019 - Hunting for beasts
Went out for a hunt today. To catch some workers for me.
Walked and walked and walked. And then I found this.
And where there are these, there also has to be...
...more of the same!
No, I mean these:
These guys never stopped making more ladybirds. Caught them together and carried them together.
So now all of them are working for me.
But I have to say that I'm a bit worried. Do they have enough food in my balcony? Should I go and get some aphids for them?
I mean, forget the plant growing thing. I'm gonna grow me some meat eating beasts! Go coccinellidae go!
I hope I didn't give them a death sentence by taking them away from their hoods. I hope they are resourceful enough to leave my balcony if they are too hungry and don't come inside to nibble my toes when I'm sleeping.
I'm sure my cats wont eat them. I mean their yellow repellent thing that they make must smell as awful as it must taste. So some entertainment for the cats, but not to eat.
