Yesterday afternoon, I decided to head out to the stadium for my usual workout routine. I’d planned a light 30-minute jog—nothing too strenuous, just to stretch my legs and clear my head after several days of not being able to go. But you know how running is: that mix of adrenaline and the urge to keep going that always kicks in when you least expect it.

When I got there, I ran into several runner friends, which added a special touch to the afternoon. There’s nothing like sharing those moments with people who understand your passion for running—exchanging experiences, tips, and mutual motivation. That makes every run more enjoyable and pushes us to give just a little bit more.

I started my run at a leisurely pace, feeling my body gradually wake up. The first few minutes are usually the hardest, but once you get into a rhythm, everything flows. At the 30-minute mark, I thought about stopping, sticking to my plan, and heading home, but the energy was still there, so I decided to stay a little longer and extend my run to 40 minutes. It’s funny how, sometimes, our bodies tell us to keep going even when our minds have other ideas.

Heading out to the track after several weeks away was refreshing. I missed that atmosphere and, above all, the sense of community you feel when you see other runners sharing the same space and goal.

In the end, beyond time or distance, what matters is not losing that love for running and enjoying every step of the way.
