Spring cleaning
I don't quite know how to say this, but at times you feel
there's a giant pile of garbage between your ears.
It is the cloud above your head, the darkness in your heart
the evil that's been feeding all your fears.
There's a blockage in the waste disposal,
a monster eating you up 'til a part of you dies.
All this time, all these years. You've been
listening to their bullshit, their complains, their lies.
All that crap.
It's time to clean it up and let it all out, shout your mind,
scream it aloud. Admit your hatred, admit – how scared you feel.
Push it all out.
For if you do this, and if you do that.
It'll be the day you'll slowly start to heal.
(Woke up in the middle of tonight and just had to write it down.)
