Mmm...fruity

I took this photo a little while ago along with some others and some I've shared on here previously. It's a fruity sort of picture right?

I used to eat a lot of fruit but due to the high sugar content tend not to eat much these days with strawberries being the main target due to their reasonably low sugar content. I like most fruits though, although bananas can fuck off - mushy mother fuckers. (Having said that, I love banana cake but again, it's not something I eat these days due to the high sugar content.)

I'm pretty critical of the quality of fruit (and vegetables for that matter) these days however manage to get reasonable quality at farmers markets - it's the supermarkets where the shit fruit and and other fresh produce is. The thing is, because I can't eat much I like to make sure what I eat is up to standard. I think it makes sense.

What's your favourite fruit and why? Do you also find that the quality is declining generally? What about the price? Has it gone up and out of reach or is the price of good quality fruit affordable in your location?
