Hola comunidad de Hive, les saluda @gabrielinhomusic. Esta semana me uno al Open Mic con una interpretación especial del icónico tema R U Mine? de Arctic Monkeys.

Esta canción, cargada de energía y deseo, juega con la incertidumbre del amor moderno. Su ritmo envolvente y la intensidad de la guitarra la han convertido en un himno del rock alternativo contemporáneo.

🧠💥 En esta ocasión, el cover fue distinto. Por motivos de salud no pude cantar, pero no quise dejar de participar. Así que decidí rendir homenaje a la canción desde otro ángulo: interpretándola con guitarra eléctrica sobre un backing track que incluye la voz original del grupo. Fue una experiencia creativa y liberadora, donde la música habló por sí sola.

Hello Hive community, this is @gabrielinhomusic. This week I’m joining the Open Mic with a special interpretation of the iconic track R U Mine? by Arctic Monkeys.

This song, full of energy and longing, plays with the uncertainty of modern love. Its hypnotic rhythm and intense guitar work have made it a staple of contemporary alternative rock.

🧠💥 This time, the cover was different. Due to health issues, I wasn’t able to sing—but I didn’t want to miss the chance to participate. So I chose to honor the song from another angle: performing it on electric guitar over a backing track that includes the band’s original vocals. It was a creative and liberating experience, letting the music speak for itself.

Huge thanks to the Hive Open Mic community for being a space of expression, support, and shared art. Every week is a chance to grow and connect.
