Information:
Modern Beach is located between Mamaia and Tomis Harbor, being one of two beaches set up by Constanţa City Hall. The beach features leisure facilities, terraces, restaurants, lifeguard services, football fields and volleyball.

Why visit this beach? first of all, there are a lot of shows and festivals (Forza Zu, VAMA, etc.), even international (Neversea). The advantages of this beach are that it is very wide and has a fine sand with small shells. Besides shows and events, you can relax anytime, playing football, volleyball, badminton, taking advantage of the sun and seawater.
Public transport to the beach:
Buses: 2, 51,5, 49, 44, 40, 43M/C;
Maxitaxi: 301 ,303.
Plaja Modern este localizata intre Mamaia si Portul turistic Tomis, fiind una din plajele amenajale chiar langa centrul orasului Constanta. Plaja dispunde de facilitati precum baruri, terase, restaurante, salvamar, terenuri de fotbal si volei.

De ce sa vizitezi aceasta plaja? in primul rand aici se tin o multime de spectacole si festivaluri (Forza Zu), chiar si internationale (Neversea). Avantajele acestei plaje sunt ca este foarte lata si dispune de un nisip fin cu scoici de mici dimensiune. In afara de spectacole si evenimente te poti relaxa oricand, profitand de soare si de de apa marii.
