Tripod is very important if you need to take photos at a slow shutter speed and use large telephoto lenses. To get a Stop Action, fast shutter speed is required, and F-stops make a difference of field. An important part of a scene needs to be in the middle of the focus, and the dramatic light helps to create the dramatic picture.The 'digital' feature of the digital camera has put people, even experienced photographers, that it is difficult to acquire new technology.
