Ant-Man is a 2015 superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. The film follows Scott Lang, a former thief who is given the ability to shrink in size and increase in strength thanks to a special suit developed by scientist Hank Pym.

The main plot of the film revolves around Lang's journey to become the new Ant-Man, as he is tasked with stopping Pym's former protégé, Darren Cross, from weaponizing the Ant-Man technology. Cross, now the CEO of Pym Technologies, seeks to sell the technology to the highest bidder, and it is up to Lang and Pym to stop him.

Along the way, Lang must also confront his own personal issues, including his strained relationship with his ex-wife and daughter and his struggles to become a responsible and reliable hero. Pym, on the other hand, must confront his own past mistakes and demons, including the loss of his wife and the betrayal of Cross.

The film also introduces several other important characters, including Hope van Dyne, Pym's daughter and Lang's love interest, and Luis, Lang's former cellmate and loyal friend.

Overall, Ant-Man is a fun and action-packed film that showcases the unique abilities of the titular hero and explores deeper themes of family and redemption. The film received positive reviews and grossed over $519 million at the box office.
