Let's Play: Stardew Valley - Ep - #2 The Backpack

Hello, gamers. Hope you are doing well.

In the last episode, we learned a few things about farming, fishing and explored our town. I will continue from the last episode, we started with Day 4 and got to Day 9 rather quickly. This is an addictive game, you will say one more day but that 1 more will turn into a week pretty quickly.

Day 4 and 5 went rather quickly, I was trying to greet all the people, there were still at least 10 person I need to go and say hi. I noticed that my inventory was getting filled rather quickly. I constantly had to trash items. But I got the mail that I can buy a bagpack which will give extra slots. It was 2000 G and I couldn't afford it yet.

I met Marlon in the mines who gave me a sword. He runs the adventurer's guild and I can join them if I prove myself. I mined a bit untile but my inventory problem is way bigger than I realised. So, I dropped the plan to mine and went back.

On the other side of the town, I met Gunther, who runs a museum and I can donate any artifacts or ores if I want to.

I saw a broken bridge close to the beach as well. It requires 300 pieces of wood. I wonder what will I find there.

I stumbled upon JoJo mart as well. Their prices were much higher than what I can get on other shops. I have now met 26 out of 28 people from the town. I open the map and saw a tower in the west side of my house. I thought I will find 2 more people there.

But before that I wanted to buy that bagpack and I wanted more money, so I decided to catch some fish. It was night but I was still fishing. Until I realised that I should head back as my energy was getting low.

It was midnight and I fell down out of exhaustion. I woke up in my house with a note

Last thing I need was to loose money like that haha. Well, lesson learnt. :)

On Day 8, when I crossing the town hall, a cutscene started with Mayor Lewis showing me the Townhall which was now in a bad shape. I saw a ghost? spirit? in that place. Looked like someone was trying to contact me. I suspect this place is going to play a major role in the overall story of the game.

When I decided to go to that tower I saw on the map. I was crossing the forest and saw a trader with some interesting items. They were very expensive though including some rare seeds. I will buy one if I get the money.

On Day 9, I chopped more trees, and did some fishing and completed a quest of killing some slimes from the mines. These got me the required amount of Gold to purchase my backpack. Finally, I had more inventory space and I don't have to run back to my house to empty my pockets.

I have been enjoying the game so far. My next course of action would be to set up a big farm and buy more seeds.
