My Hive Power Up for this month!

Yes, I'm joining the Hive Power Up Day #HPUD once again.
I've questioned myself; why would I only power up my Hive once a month?
When I power up my liquid hive whenever I have some, I immediate profit from it.
So usually I power up my liquid Hive when I have some.
But this month I had been saving some liquid Hive. There have been developed some cool new games and apps lately. For some of them you need a bit of liquid Hive, so that's why I saved it up this time.

But today, on Hive Power Up Day, I noticed I had over 100 Hive already, so I decided to for for the badge!

Why power up?

Because paying out with these prices doesn't make sense 😂
With Hive at 0.058 USD, 100 Hive is not even 6 dollars.
But I think we shouldn't look at the dollar price too much, but look at your total amount of Hive instead. The total amount of Hive determines the influence you have on the platform.
And having a large stake can give you a nice extra income in curation rewards.
My curation efforts resulted in 316 extra Hive in the past month. And the Hivers I've curated received the same amount. It still is cool how this works.

I will keep growing my account. A nice tool to check your progress is the hivebuzz.me ranking.
After todays power up I am in 402th spot with 51,732 Staked Hive. Just a few Hive away from the Top 400. That will be my goal for the next month 💪
The next step after that will be to become an Orca, but for that I will need quite a bit more Hive.
At the moment, the first orca is threespeak with 61,317 HP staked.

If I keep this pace with 100 Hive and 316 HP I will be around 55,500 by the end of the year.
Without buying Hive I can become an orca in 2027.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on my blog. Feel free to share your perspective in the comments.
