Letzten Samstag haben wir und mit der Karnevalstruppe "Jecke Camper" getroffen um dem Fahrer des Karnevalwagens und dem Ausleiher des Anhängers zu danken. Dafür haben wir den Grill angeschmissen und das Bier kalt gestellt.Last Saturday we met with the carnival troupe "Jecke Camper" to thank the driver of the carnival float and the lender of the trailer. For this we fired up the barbecue and kept the beer cold.

Leider hat niemand ein Foto von dem phänomenalen Ausblick gemacht. Nur ein Blick auf die Millicher Halde und das Dach des Edeka. Nicht ganz so schön. Aber nun gut, so ist das dann.Unfortunately, no one took a photo of the phenomenal view. Just a view of the Millicher Halde and the roof of the Edeka. Not quite as beautiful. But well, that's how it is then.

Es wurde dann auch ziemlich spät und ich ziemlich voll. Zum Glück gab es dann noch ein wenig Fingerfood. Man bekommt ja dann doch Hunger bei so viel Bier.It got pretty late and I was pretty full. Luckily, there was still a little finger food. You do get hungry with so much beer.

Und dann ging es sehr spät mit dem Fahrrad nach Hause und so war es dann auch um die halb vier bevor ich ins Bett kam. Zum Glück kenne ich alle kleinen wege abseits der Straßen. Da fährt es sich doch sicherer dann. Und man behält seinen Führerschein. 😅And then I cycled home very late and it was around half past three before I got to bed. Luckily I know all the little roads off the beaten track. It's safer to ride that way. And you keep your driving licence. 😅
Und so war das ein sehr schöner Abend mit einer lustigen Truppe. Und das schöne, bald geht es auch mit dem Wagenbau wieder los.And so it was a very nice evening with a fun group. And the nice thing is that we will soon start building the floats again.
