Hive Hard Forks: When do they happen?

The next hard fork will occur when a super majority of the top 20 witnesses agrees to implement it

There is no corporation forcing changes. Anytime someone says "HF on this date", it should be taken as worthless

Nobody short of a super majority of top 20 witnesses can mandate that a hardfork occur at a certain date or time

Witnesses can't accurately judge when they'd like to fork until AFTER the code has been solidified

Why do some people like to make up dates and tell everyone that's when the hf will occur? No idea. It's a terrible policy and I encourage you to ignore anyone making such a claim
