Black bread porridge
Today I made black bread porridge, which is good, but you can eat it in many different ways. Here in Estonia, it is often eaten with milk, but I prefer to eat it with frozen fruits and berries.
making it is even easier than making anything else.
All you need for this is...
Black bread
raisins
water
salt
sugar
vanilla sugar
and the preparation is also easy, Cut the bread into pieces in a large pot, cover it with water so that the bread is exactly covered with it, So let it boil and let it turn into porridge, add sugar, add vanilla sugar. After that, stir and boil a little more, remove from heat and then puree it with a mixer or any blender you have, after that put it back on the heat and add the raisins, boil for a little more time and it's ready.
Put it in a bowl, and then add frozen fruits and berries on top. These frozen fruits and berries are also mixed with sugar, which is even better.
If you want, you can also pour milk on top, which many people here do, but I prefer to eat it without milk.
