Through back to 2017 - visiting Guinness storehouse
Early in my relationship with my missus we visited Guinness storehouse together. This is from February 2017. Luckily the album was saved on Line messenger even though my phone died last week I still can view some of our photos together.
View of Dublin on a grey day, nothing new there! The weather isn't great in winter or early spring!
There's a nice tour of the history of Guinness and how Guinness was advertised over the years and how the brand grew. The main sentiment from what I remember is that Guinness has been good for Ireland and the family generous wherever they went. They don't dwell much on the bad caused by alcohol abuse but that isn't surprising really as they have to push the positives.
Even though I don't like Guinness much the highlight was learning and pouring our own pints of Guinness and then drinking them with a view over Dublin.
