The history of Guinness beer begins in 1759, when Arthur Guinness leased a brewery in Dublin for 9,000 years and began exporting Guinness beer to England in 1769. This drink, with its rich taste, quickly gained popularity, becoming one of the most famous in the world.
Guinness' association with records dates back to the 1950s. The history of the Guinness Book of Records begins with a dispute in a beer pub. Brewery director Sir Hugh Beaver couldn't find an answer to the question of which bird is the fastest. This prompted him to create a book that would answer similar questions.
Since then, the Guinness Book of Records has become a cult. It documents the most amazing, extravagant and impressive achievements of people from all over the world.
